Sugar, chocolate chips (sugar, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, soy lecithin [an emulsifier]), malted wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), cocoa powder, natural vanilla flavor, cocoa powder (processed with alkali), gum blend (xanthan gum, sodium alginate, guar gum), baking soda, natural cocoa flavor. Contains wheat and soy.
You will need
7 Tbsp butter, melted and cooled
Note: Preheat oven to 300°F. Grease or line one 8×8 square cake pan with parchment paper.
1. MIX IT UP! Combine tarte mix, eggs and melted/cooled butter in a mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer beat on medium speed until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
2. BAKE IT UP! Bake at 300°F for 24-28 minutes. Tarte is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
3. SERVE IT UP! Cool 10 minutes before removing tarte from pan. Cool completely before frosting. May be frosted or glazed with confectioner’s sugar. ENJOY!
