This is not an allergen free baking line
Malted wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour), sugar dextrose, aluminum free baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate), natural lemonade flavor, salt, citric acid, baking soda, gum blend (xanthan gum, sodium alginate, guar gum), lemon, group turmeric. Contains wheat. May contain Soy.
You will need
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp butter, softened
Note: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line the bottom of one 8×8 square baking pan with parchment paper.
1. MIX IT UP! Combine 1/2 cup of tarte mix and softened butter into a mixing bowl. Using electric mixer, cream together until light and fluffy. Add egg into mixing bowl and beat on low speed to incorporate into batter. Add remaining ingredients into mixing bowl, alternating between the milk and the rest of the tarte mix. Beat ingredients until batter appears whipped and wait 5 minutes. If necessary, whisk to smooth out any air bubbles that may have formed. Pour batter into prepared pan.
2. BAKE IT UP! Bake at 350°F for 20-22 minutes. Tarte is done when a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
3. SERVE IT UP! Cool 10 minutes before removing cake from pan. Cool completely before frosting. ENJOY!
